Taught to ride at an early age by Mrs Padden, a gypsy friend of my grandfather I feel privileged to have been initiated into the ways of riding by first and foremost feeling with and listening to the horse.

Although I competed with success, in dressage, point to point  and cross country my goal was always the pursuit of those fleeting moments of pure communication and connection.

I am also fortunate to have studied with, in my opinion some of the worlds greatest living horsemen and women and to have discovered on my journey a wealth of tools to assist me with caring for the mental and physical wellbeing of my horses.

 Currently working as a Saddle Fitter covering Somerset,Devon and Cornwall  specialising in hard to fit and remedial horses and ponies, anything from rolly polly thelwell types and flat back, no withers to horses with high withers,sway backs,wither damage & kissing spine.

I also practice Reiki, Bach Flower therapy and I am currently studying to become a Equine Touch practitioner.

Always available for advice on any aspects of horse care be it mental or physical problems. We also run clinics giving people a chance to ride with my mentor, Lucinda McAlpine and learn Equine Touch with instructor Lyn Palmer.
