Terms & conditions

·       Students must be aged 16 or over. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian countersign the Acknowledgment of Risk Form provided at the start of the course.

If a student under the age of 16 wishes to attend the course then a parent/guardian must be present and provide full-time supervision during the course. Please discuss this with the Instructor prior to booking a place for under 16s.

·       There is no minimum requirement for horse handling skills and experience for the Equine Touch Level 1 courses. However, students who do not have any horse handling experience, or limited experience, should note this on the form so appropriate arrangements can be made.

·       Students participate at their own risk and understand the inherent risks of working with and around equines.  All students are asked to sign a risk acknowledgement form prior to commencing the course.

·       There is no requirement of students to have studied any form of bodywork, complementary therapy or anatomy / physiology prior to the course.

·       A non-refundable deposit of £110 is required per student to reserve a place on each course. Deposit cheques made payable to the Instructor and a completed booking form need to be sent to the Instructor running the course. In the event that the student cannot attend the course the deposit may be transferred to a different course with the same Instructor by arrangement and within one year of the original course date.

·       Course joining instructions will be issued to students nearer the date of the course, providing directions, B&B details, lunch arrangements etc.

·       The balance of the course fee is due at the start of your Equine Touch course, either by cash or cheque made payable to your Instructor.

·       Any Equine Touch Level 1 or Level 2 course may be attended a second time as a review at half price.
